Tarap

Hahaha... I force this 'sumandak' (women that not marry yet) to hold the 'Tarap' (a local fruit) so she can be my model... but becouse she can't hold the fruit a bit longger (the fruit is a bit heavy for some girl) I can only took a few shot. And this the best i guess... ok about this fruit...amazingly it can only be found at borneo especially in Sabah. And it's quite famous among local people not only becouse it tasty (eat raw - taste so sweet) but also it's very delicious if you make cookies from it. Young 'tarap' can be cooked as food for lunch or dinner. Even the leaf of this fruit is usefull as a rice 'bowl' (longtime ago when plastice bowl or plate or tupperware has not being introduce, local will used this leaf to wrap rice especially when they are big party like wedding to be held). But sadly no body try to comercialise it or do some research on it. Even the price of the 'tarap' is increasing year by year the quality of the 'tarap' is still the same.
